Iconography
It is mentioned in the set design to depict a mood or to make audience understand the significance of some scene. eg building, landmark etc
Set Design
Set Design is basically the creation of theatrical, television or movie scenery. It comprises of how the place is dressed up and what century is it depicting. A set holds a deeper meaning then just viewing what is showcased. It makes the audience react in a certain way and think in a certain way. It also makes the story much more clearer and tells the viewers where exactly the actors and what could be going on.
Make-up
Make up beautifies the actors improving their overall performance. They cover the flaws of the actor (if any). They also potray the background of the character and set a vibe. Just by the way the make up is done a person can recognise their possible role.
Lighting
Lighting sets the mood and reflects the genre. It tells the person what time of the day it is to how to feel emotionally.
For my opening sequence i've two kinds of main lightings. Present and past tense.
Present tense i've kept it normal while past tense have shades of blue as a filter depicting a flashback.
